December Daily - Day 17
Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month) and the finished pages along with the supplies I used.
Welcome to Day 17 -
The Christmas card that almost wasn’t. 🌲 I’ve sent out cards for at least the last 20 years. Always a picture of the boys together or a family picture. This year our oldest wasn’t able to come home for Thanksgiving- when I usually do our photos - so this was the year I wasn’t going to send cards. On Sunday -3 days ago! - I couldn’t take it. Ordered cards online & payed for rush shipping. And they came yesterday & mailing today 🎉 Wait, what you say.... You might be looking at that photo that has 4 of us in it. If you’ve taken a class from me in the last 2 years, you might remember a story I told about when we went to Disneyland for Spring Break, but Jack was away at college. So we took him with us... his face printed out & taped to a stick. Jack on a stick strikes again!
I used a clear toner sheet/transparency to include the date, then punched holes in the Christmas card & voila - easy peasy.
My foundation page for the 17th -
Absolutely nothing like how it ended up! Sometimes that happens and that's absolutely ok. Sometimes I might use the foundation page later in the month and other times it doesn't get used. And that's absolutely ok, too :)
