December Daily 2025 | Day 1

So excited to jump into December Daily again this year - my 18th year in a row doing this amazing project about documenting memories each day in December.  Read more about my journey with December Daily here.

Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2025 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post).

Let's jump in with Day 1 -

Here are the individual pages that make up Day 1 -

I started out with a  2x2 pocket page, my signature intro for the last few years - I love having see through peek a boos in my books :)

I had put out my past year's December Documented projects to photograph all together.  Our oldest son and his fiance were in town for Thanksgiving and they sat down with younger son Sam for a good hour+, just looking through each book, laughing, sharing stories and remembering the details of the last 18 Christmases.

I printed the large 6x8 photo and the smaller 2x2 photos using the Epson XP-15000 printer

Told the story & adhered to the back of the photo, then punched holes and added as a page.

Here's my original Day 1 foundation page -
