December Daily 2024 | Day 6

Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2024 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post).

Day 6 - The Chaos Tree

Here are the individual pages that make up Day 6 -

I recently heard the term 'chaos tree' and I thought to myself 'that's it. that's perfect. that's our tree!'

It's the perfect hodge hodge mis of handmade ornaments the boys made in school as little kids, ornaments gifted to us by our moms throughout our marriage, baby's first christmas ornaments, ornaments from our travels & more. The chaos is definitely there, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

Another interactive element on the left - what I call a dog door/oven door combo :)

The top door lifts from the bottom - like a dog door

And the bottom door opens from the top, like an oven door. When both doors are open you see a full size photo of the tree that I trimmed into 3 pieces.

On the right are two close up photos of the tree that I adhered back to back, punched holes & added as a page.
