December Daily 2024 | Day 13

Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2024 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post).

I'm a few days behind after traveling last week, planning to catch up over the next few days :)

Day 13 - Out the Window

One of my favorite ways to document a trip is with a photo taken out the window of the airplane - what I call 'Out the Window'. That's what I did flying home from our trip on the 13th.

Here are the individual pages that make up Day 13 -

If there’s a window seat available, I’m in it. One of my favorite things to do when flying is to look out the window. So much goes by out that window that so many people miss.

'Out the Window' is something I started doing almost 5 years ago. I designed a format I liked and went to work stamping & printing photos & adding journaling. Several years ago I designed & released the Out the Window 6x8/3x3 stamp set to make it easy to document using a consistent format each time.

Using the Misti stamping tool, I place the stamps in the same spot each time I document a trip, ensuring a consistent placement time after time after time.

On the right side I used product/barcode strips from the papers in the kit to create a tree, then topped it with a metal star. I did the same technique in my December Daily in 2019 & thought it would be fun to do again this year :)
