December Daily 2023 - Day 20
Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month), using my 2023 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post).
Day 20 - the project kit that has kept on giving, going on 13 years!
Journaling on the back of the pocket from the 20th.
Back in 2010 (had to look that one up on her blog!) I purchased an advent calendar kit from Paula Cheney. I'd never purchased a project kit from anyone before, but when I saw Paula's I knew I had to have it.
A 24" wide x 40" tall advent calendar - burlap wrapped around a piece of foam insulation board with 25 meticulously crafted tags.
An incredible work of art that Paula designed!
Each tag came with everything needed to put it together - step by step instructions, beautiful vintage pieces, ribbons, trim, stamps & more. Sooooo many different techniques. Sooooo many different mediums. It was nothing I'd even even come close to doing before; I was so out of my element! It took me weeks to put together. But when I was done... what a treasure!!
This is the first year I've had it up in our new house, so glad I brought it out again :)
