December Daily 2023 - Day 13

Each day here on my blog I'll be sharing my foundation pages (the base page I had ready to go before the month, using my 2023 December Documented Mini Book Project Kit and the finished pages along with the supplies I used (linked at the end of each post). 

Day 13 - Taking time to slow down

It's not something I do well - taking time to slow down - ever.  Especially this time of year!  But on the 13th I did - took most of the afternoon off & met my mom for lunch & a guilty pleasure trip to the bookstore :)

On the left side of my spread I added washi tape again along the margin & repunched the holes - needed to do that to cover up the washi you could see through from the back side on the 12th.  Added a bingo card to a gold foil patterned paper and embellished from there.

The right side of the spread is something I do every few years - always makes me so happy :)  I punched holes in a drawstring linen gift bag that I picked up from Target a few years ago in the One Spot.  I need to remind myself to check early next year to see if they have them again!  

 I used a generous amount of liquid glue to adhere the chipboard number to the front of the bag.  

Inside the bag I tucked two traveler's notebook printables that I had adhered back to back; when I saw both of them, I knew they were perfect for the story I wanted to tell.

I printed a film strip & clipped it to the piece on the back, along with journaling & a rub on tree branch.  

Here's my original day 13 foundation pages - with the exception of the branch & 'bright' acetate piece, I pretty much changed them up!
