Daily Journal Spreads | Design Team: Rachel Newman
Hey it’s Rachel @thelifefacilitator and I am super excited to share some unique ways to use several of the stamps sets from the February release. I created two different spreads in my daily journal, all with the same few stamps!
When your husband is quoted in an article, you have to document it! First, I printed a screenshot of the article, and my husband’s quote. Next, I used the news wordfetti stamp from the In the News stamp set to create a little background on the page. For the title, I stamped “Today’s Headline”, also from the In the News stamp set.
I then stamped a quote box from the In the Box-Quotes on the page and adhere the quote inside the stamped element. I love how the quote box draws your eye down the page. To the side of the quote, I had just enough room for “no way!” stamp in the space about the little scrolling hand icon, both from the In the News stamp set.
On the right page, I focused my journaling on an affirmation I really enjoy and a photograph from my walk that morning. My whole quote didn’t fit in one quote box, so I went ahead and used two from the In the Box-Quotes! To add some embellishment to the photo, I stamped several of the flowers for the Postage Builder - Flowers stamp set. I love how the flower peak out to create a bit of whimsy and joy, similarly reflected in the quote.
