Hello my crafty friends!  It is Tai, your memory keep girlfriend on the Layle By Mail design team. 

Have you been enjoying the new ‘currently’ metal die set?  I know I have.  I used the stamp and metal die to create today’s project in my TN insert from LBM.

My first step was to find a photo to use and I printed it at 5 x 8.25 to take up the entire side of the insert.  It is a bright and colorful.  A visit at the park when she was on the swing set and the arch was centered in my photo.  It was a great shot. 

I then selected a patterned paper in my stash from the ‘Flower Shoppe’ by Simple Stories.  

I covered the opposite side of the page with the paper.  I was leaning into the pinks and blues.  So since my paper was more blue, I decided to stamp the word ‘currently’ in Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo and then used the metal die to cut it out repeatedly.  I could fit it 4 times down the length of the page to hold my journaling.

My journaling was simply white card stock stripes where my currently cut out labeled each one and then I used 4 ‘ing’ words to document a recent story about my daughter at 7 years old.  She is excited for this summer with her camp and trip planned.  We are hoping she looses were upper teeth soon, they are super wiggly.  She is wearing size Medium now in the girl section.   Just a few mom observations.  I used a few ephemera bits to finish off my spread and its in my notebook insert.  I love how it turned out.
