Be Mine | Design Team: Nikki Sher
It’s Nikki Sher back to show you a fun Valentine’s Day Traveler’s Notebook Layout I created using the new Layle by Mail Season Pass 2.0 – 2026 Winter/Spring Collection. Brandon and I snapped a quick photo at our Valentine’s Day Dinner in 2024 and even though it’s not the perfect picture, I still wanted to document this day as our first Valentine’s Day together.
I really love all the patterns in the February portion of the Paper Pack and was having a hard time deciding on which to use in my layout. So I cut them into strips and placed them all on a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed to 5” x 8 ¼”. I loved the “Be Mine” 3x4 Card so I trimmed it down and made it into a tag to use as my title for the layout. I added a simple Rub On and Die Cut to it and then adhered it to my page with foam adhesive.
I wanted there to be consistency throughout the layout, so after deciding on my background paper, I cut a few thinner strips of patterned paper and layered them underneath my photo. I did end up having a small white mat around my photo as I thought this made it pop off the page a little better. After that I was ready to finish the layout off with some more Die Cuts, Wordstrip Stickers and Rub-Ons!
Side Note – I did hand write the date underneath my photo but ended up smudging it before the ink dried! So I pulled out my new Layle by Mail Month by Month Sticker Book and used an extra “20” and “24” I had left over from the January Calendar. They worked perfectly to cover up my mistake!)
