Camp Wanna Craft
In May I signed up for something called Camp Wanna Craft - an interactive, creative online retreat designed to inspire your creativity & get you crafting through video workshops, tutorials and fun live events.
I thought it would be a fun treat just for me - to create just for the sake of creating. No kit, no pressure, no real schedule. Something I could do on my own time, at my own pace, in my own style.
I'm using the Blush 6x8 SN@P! Binder from Simple Stories as the base for my project & pulling in lots of different things from my stash.
A little kink in my plans... I ended up with a nasty cold/flu in June that lasted 3 weeks. BOO! So this little project set off to the side until this last week. And this lovely place... Priest Lake, Idaho. Seriously a little slice of heaven on earth :)
I'm here for the week with my husband & dear friends of ours. Relaxing, enjoying the great outdoors and doing a little work here and there in my book.
I'm using some of the printables from Camp Wanna Craft along with different products from my stash. I grabbed the new Happy Trails collection from Simple Stories to bring with me to play with.
It's such a fun, kitschy, retro collection - perfect for this book!
I used one of the Happy Trails papers to cover the divider, then cut up a small gift bag & tucked some tags & journaling bits inside. Added a moss covered stick from the forest, think I may go hunting today for more real embellies to add throughout my book!🌲 Just having fun playing for the sake of playing 😀
I'll continue to share as I get more done!
