BEE-UTIFUL TN Layout | Design Team: Junell Kruzell
Hello everyone! Junell here on the blog today! Not a fan of bees! Never thought I’d ever use a bee die cut in my scrapbooking, but here I am, documenting an ordinary moment, a quiet moment, in which I saw a bee on a pretty flower and thought to take a picture.

The pink striped paper was the perfect shade to complement this photo, so I cut it to size to fit my travelers notebook and then cut a white piece of card stock to align down the center. I used Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide to edge the paper to make it stand out.

I created a cluster to adhere to the top of the photo using another die cut and rub-on. I used the oval from the Destination Unknown Mini Stamp set to stamp an oval and then used the metal die to cut it out. I stamped a sentiment on top from the Documenting the Details 2 stamp set and popped it up on foam to give it some dimension and added another die cut and some gold dots to pretty it up!

I then started working on my title. I used the Poe Alpha Large Lower Case and more Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide to stamp my title vertically to give the page some interest. Of course, I had to go with the bee theme for my title! I love adding subtitles to my layout and did that with the tiny, tiny Frankie Alpha. And then I added my journaling.

Now for the most beautiful bee die-cut I’ve ever seen! I added foam dots to the back to give it some lift. I added a rub-on above it that captured the essence of my journaling and then more gold dots. There is an itty, bitty, little star stamp in the Frankie Alphabet stamp set and I used that to sprinkle around the bee. I also used a stamp from the Documenting the Details 2 stamp set that has a pen making pen marks. I inked up the pen mark portion to stamp to give the bee some “movement”. It now looks like the bee is buzzing around my page!

I hope I inspired you to document some “ordinary, quiet” moments along with the big events with this page! Thanks for reading and you can find more of my layouts here on Instagram.
