Back to School Mini Album

Hi everyone! Tara, with Secretbees Studio, here with another fabulous creation made with the new Summer/Fall Season Pass 2.0 Kit from Layle by Mail.

This newest Season Pass is all about late summer into fall and always smack dab in the middle of that is Back To School!

This adorable mini album is inspired by the always popular, brand new backpack for the start of the school year! I created this mini in the likeness of the backpacks in this collection complete with a top handle and a metal buckle for the strap. The cover of the ‘backpack’ is decorated with a big, juicy apple and part of a label die-cut from the collection plus I sprinkled in lots of colorful stars throughout.

For the inside of the mini album, I made three differently sized sections that nest within each other and they all graduate in height. This allows you to see all of the pretty patterns of paper upon opening the album! There are fun stripes, colorful pencils, juicy watermelon, a pretty floral and cute rulers! 

The pages of this mini are decked out with the charming die-cuts in the kit and they coordinate so well with all of the paper patterns. I used quite a few of the included journal cards to highlight the pages and accented them with stamped images from the kit as well. The word strip stickers are some of my favorite embellishments in the kit and I added several of these throughout the album.

This little album is a beautiful way to hold some of those precious school day memories and it makes a super cute decor item too! Thanks for stopping by the blog and letting me inspire you!
