All The Gifts Mini Album | Design Team: Tara Chaussee

Hi everyone! Tara here from Secretbees Studio with my first Christmas creation of the year made with the super fun and super gorgeous Dear December collection! This collection is full of bold colors, amazing patterns and die-cuts galore along with the always wonderful word strip stickers AND a brand new sticker sheet! 

I recently attended a fun, crafty weekend and learned an amazing new technique from my crafty friend Andrea. I decided to recreate it with a few changes and came up with this sliding mini album made to look like a stack of Christmas gifts complete with bows and decorations!

I created the slider with four ‘gifts’ each the same size in height. They graduate in width by a half inch with the smallest on top and are connected to each other with a sliding band that fits inside the previous one. Then they are all nestled and attached inside of this fabulous gift box that is covered in more gorgeous papers.

The front of the box is accented with a sweet Santa circle cut from one of the 3x4 journal cards that sits atop a plaid paper rosette. I tucked in a few of the charming die cuts around it along with one of the word strip stickers and then created another fun cluster of die cuts for the top of the box. These are all hooked to a small paperclip and can be slipped on or off easily! 

The real fun began with the mixing and matching of all of the gorgeous patterned papers for the gifts! Each gift has a different pattern of paper on the front and back- so many awesome ones to choose from! Most are accented with a festive, decorative  bow cut from the same beautiful papers and all of them feature one or more of the lovely and colorful die-cuts along with word strip stickers!
