About Last Month - February | Design Team: Tai Cortez
Hello crafty friends! It's Its Tai and I have a project that is totally inspired by the lovely Layle. In our crafty community, we call it ‘scrap lift’.
Layle does an amazing job at documenting her monthly memories in a list format. This is totally inspiring and a manageable approach to memory keeping. I used the 2025 About Last Month stamp set to stamp out my title ‘about last month February.’ To make my title fancy, I used gold heat embossing for the word February.
I went through my iPhone camera roll and selected 6 photos to collage on a 4x6 photo print. I tried to get a collection of photos throughout the month in order to make a list of the highlights. This can be a manageable task for many people to memory keep. I could have also done a collage of paper 8-9 photos if I needed more to document.
I am living my best mom life, so of course many of the moments involve my 7 year old daughter, Valentina. In these photos she attending the Home Depot Workshop, we had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, we attended a Peter Pan musical, picture day at school, regular doggie walks around the neighborhood and wandering the aisle of Joann’s now that its closing.
I also utilized the Currently stamp set to make small labels for each photo on the same background paper. They act as little titles per photo. I am using a patterned paper from Simple Stories that is floral pink and beautiful. For my list journaling I used a pilot G2, my favorite pen.
If I could get into a healthy monthly habit of documenting the highlight of the month in this TN, that would be a lovely addition to my memory keeping.
