26 Parks in 2026 TN Layout | Design Team: Jessica Michaels

Hey everyone, Jessica here! I'm starting a fun project this year — visiting 26 parks in 2026 with my kids, and documenting every adventure in a dedicated travel notebook. I grabbed one of the travel notebooks from Layle's shop along with an insert and the new Far & Wide release, which is packed with the most perfect travel icons for exactly this kind of project.

The large globe die cut was the first thing I reached for — it felt like the natural anchor for the notebook's cover spread to tell the whole story of this project.

I printed my journaling onto a clear mailing label and adhered it to the back of the globe, then decorated the front with stickers and die cut ephemera from the collection.

For the next page, I added a scallop border along the top from the small paper pad for a hint of green that ties right into our park photos. The About Last Month stamps were a perfect fit to build a little grid for the date and park name, and I pulled in the Tali Numbers set to stamp a big bold 01 — our first park of the year. Those two elements sit right next to each other like they were always meant to be paired.

From there I filled the page with photos from the visit, layered in the die cut ephemera and rub ons around the spread, stamped a few pieces from the collection toward the bottom, and colored in the little camera icon at the top with a Copic marker.

The finishing touch was a doodled border around my photos, and just like that — spread complete! I honestly can't wait for the next adventure. Having a collection this fun to document with makes me want to hit every park on the list as fast as possible.
